Over the course of the last ten years, we have immersed ourselves in the rich history of analog photography in order to bring back all the creative tools of the
traditional darkroom. From scientific analysis of discontinued color and B&W films to detailed observation of darkroom techniques, Exposure 6 was designed to give you
new ways to think about your art, realize your vision, and stand out from the crowd.
Nuances Matter
Photographers know more than anyone that beauty lies in the tiniest of details and Exposure 6 is built with this philosophy in mind. Within a single Exposure preset,
many small effects work together to achieve a coherent look. For instance, realistic grain clumps together and is stronger in the midtones. To discover all these
subtle details, our research included test shoots with films that were still available. For discontinued films we relied on photo archives and the professionals who
created them. We also took time to analyze film grain under a microscope to get the characteristic look just right. As a result, Exposure renders grain accurately
across the full dynamic range rather than just indiscriminately peppering the image with electronic noise like other programs do.

With over 450 presets that emulate the warmth, softness and realistic grains of film, Exposure offers a wide range of starting points for developing your look. Youll
find accurate recreations of classic favorites like Kodachrome, TRI-X and Polaroid, plus exotic ones like Panatomic-X and GAF 500. If you discover a preset that sparks
an idea, its easy to mold it to fit your needs. Save your new look as a preset with a name, category, and even include notes. Later, you can apply it to a photo (or
batches of photos) with a single click.
Workflow Versatility
Exposure 6 fits into any workflow. It integrates seamlessly with Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture and, with its new basic control panel and super fast processing,
delivers excellent results as a standalone application.

Creative Focus Effects
Exposure 6 delivers all the powerful functionality of our creative focus and lens simulation program, Bokeh. So you can now draw attention to your subject by
manipulating focus, vignette and depth of field. From simulation of fast lenses such as the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L and the Nikon 300mm f/2.8 through to tilt/shift and
motion blur looks, Exposure 6 offers you an endless array of visually creative options.
Basic Control Panel
In order to give you even finer creative control over your images, Exposure 6 sports a brand new basic control panel containing sliders to tweak your images exposure,
contrast, highlights, shadows, clarity, vibrance and saturation for faster editing and less reliance on other programs.
Instant Previews
Choosing your look is the what Exposure is all about, so we have rewritten the image processing engine to make it lightning fast. No need to squint at tiny preview
windows or click and wait for the image to render like in other programs! Exposure 6 automatically displays full-sized instant previews as you mouse over to help you
quickly experiment and define your look.
New Borders, Light Effects and Textures
Exposure 6 includes many new lighting effects such as realistic sun flare, and authentic vintage borders from the archives of world-renowned photographer Parker J
Pfister. But it doesnt stop there, you can now import your own custom borders and textures and share them across multiple computers too.
Improved UI
Exposure 6 features an updated user interface with a cleaner layout for improved aesthetics and quicker navigation. We have made the standard background a darker gray
color to facilitate editing of both color and B&W images. The preset browser now also offers a list view as well as optional thumbnails for a more visual experience.
Retina Support
Exposure 6 now supports Apple retina displays for unsurpassable image quality.

- An Intel Core 2 processor or compatible
- A monitor with 1280768 resolution or greater
Host Requirements:
Exposure 6 may be used as a standalone program or a plug-in. When Exposure is used as a plug-in it requires one of these host applications:
