Parted Magic - a small distro Linux, designed for partitioning hard drives and store-data recovery. Plenty of choice of software (Clonezilla, elinks, mozilla-firefox, nano, nmap, testdisk, wget, rtorrent, mc, unetbootin, etc.), just look at the list of installed packages. Distribution is updated on average each month. However, this distribution, available as a Live CD, not necessarily be regarded as solely a means of partitioning a hard drive, it is quite suitable for informational purposes as a lightweight Linux.
