CADCAM CAA (Component Application Architecture, CAA2, CAA V5) - a full-featured multi-level API for writing applications for all types of CATIA V5. CATIA-application can be divided into the following categories:
? embedded (embedded, they are the same CATIA AddIn) - Supplement ed directly into CATIA ENOVIA DELMIA
? standalone (independent)
?CMD-line (console, batch, console) - usually all sorts of converters, validators itp
?Interactive (interactive, UI-based) - all up to create your own CATIA-like environment.
RADE (Rapid Application Develpment Environment) - is the environment which allows to properly build CATIA-applications written using the CAA. RADE is a set of programs and scripts run from a command line, as well as being a "front-end" in the form of "add-ins" to MS Visual Studio.
Once properly installed in the studio RADE menu items appear specific CAA.
