WinXP Manager - a program to configure and optimize the operating system. It contains about three dozen different utilities, which provide access to several hundreds of hidden options to configure the operating system. You can use it to try to improve the performance of Windows, improved security settings, cleaned the registry, remove junk files, speed up data transfer over the network and the Internet. In addition, the program provides an opportunity to create a backup copy of data for the mail client Outlook Express, automatically check dead links in "Select" and so on. For inexperienced users the program offers a convenient wizard.
The package includes a number of utilities, united by one common envelope. They are divided into several categories according to their common purpose:
• Information: displays detailed information about the system, as well as hardware component, helps find a list of installation codes for products from Microsoft; displays a list of processes, as well as a special master for optimization without having to know anything
• Optimization: allows you to speed up startup and shutdown system monitors the natural resources, configures the hardware for a general acceleration of the work, may turn off some services, to restore the work of Internet Explorer, as well as some other system component
• Cleaning: searches for files or folders (duplicates, garbage, etc.) that can be removed, and thus free up space, cleans the registry and fixes the incorrect values, defragment, and re-index your registry to reduce application response time; can remove installed system program
• Personalize: management startup Windows; editing context menu, Customize Desktop, custom toolbars, Start menu, alerts, screensavers and backgrounds, set custom icons, editing OEM-information automatically change your desktop background on the condition
• Safety: Setting the desktop, control panel and security Windows; activation of the many hidden system options, hidden devices, including partitions, a ban on launching applications, file encryption;
• Network: Optimization of Internet connections, the management of folders, open access, search for open ports in the system, setting Internet Explorer; backup data in Outlook Express; automatic checking links in favorites, send messages to other users on the network, ala netsend
• Other utilities: the mapping of system utilities and launch them on remote control, the application of visual styles to the program, setting the access time for a personal accounts system.
