Digitally remastered 3CD set with tracks from all phases of the recording career of the man who fronted both Small Faces & Humble Pie. As a successful child actor, he played the Artful Dodger in the musical Oliver! as a teen. He met bassist Ronnie Lane and joined his band The Pioneers, who morphed into the greatest Mod band, The Small Faces. They reeled off a series of smash hits, including "All Or Nothing", "Itchycoo Park", "Tin Soldier" and "Lazy Sunday", as well as the 1968 classic LP 'Ogden's Nut Gone Flake'. A disillusioned Marriott left the band, recruited ex-Herd guitarist Peter Frampton to form the hard-rock combo Humble Pie. Their debut single "Natural Born Bugie," cracked the UK Top 5 and achieved success in the U.S. before they disbanded in 1975.
He then took on other musical projects until his death in 1991 and some of those are included in this set.
