Forex Raising trades during the Asian Session. The Robot does not use any indicator and opens trades based on price action. It is mainly a countertrend system which try to catch the reversals during flat market conditions. The exist is mainly defined by a static takeprofit / stoploss which has some additional protection mechanism to reduce the number of losses. Forex Rising opens only buy trades it never goes short. With one of the settings the maximal number of open positions at the same time can be controlled.
Settings
All parameters of the trading strategy can be adapted. The most important settings are the GMT Offset, the adaptions for 4- / 5-Digit price quotes, the parameters to allow mini- / micro-lots and the Risk settings. All settings are well explained in the readme file.
Money Management
Forex Rising offer built in money management. The calculated lotsize is margin based and does not reflect the effective risk.
Broker Requirements
The robot works well on brokers with 4- and 5-Digit price quotes but does not support brokers which requires Marketorders (ECN).
Conclusion
A simple trading approach which could be profitable. The stoploss level is small which is a good thing. Drawdown can be significant and much bigger than on the examples on the homepa
