Came Scientific Linux 6.4 - the next distribution release enterprise-class, assembled on packet-based Red Hat Enterprise Linux for architectures i386 - x86_64.
Realized default package yum-conf-sl6x, which contains settings to update Yum-repository as new releases of Scientific Linux 6.x, which allows you to automatically switch to the latest version of Scientific Linux 6.x immediately after its publication, without additional manual manipulation to initiate updates distro the package yum-conf-sl-other record added to support the repository 'sl-addons' , which houses packages that claim to be included in future releases, the packets with an uncertain future, or which can not be added to the repository main; by eliminating vulnerabilities in xorg-x11-server changed ABI. Since the change is due to security update package with a modified ABI will be presented for the previous editions of Scientific Linux 6.x; dropped support for legacy Matahari API, used to govern the system.
