Over eight weightless deconstructions, the Italian artist travels a microcosmos of nudged plongs and glassy pings in an alternately arid and aqueous sequence of events conjuring the surreal, heady effects of low atmospheric pressure conditions with acutely impressionistic ingenuity.
Using a similar palette to his Bellows recordings with Giuseppe Ielasi, the Italian sound artist tests out a more congealed set of rhythms and pulses here, with perfectly low key and seductive results in the gloomy groove and midnight jazz timbre of W11 and bobbling patterns coming across like a much reduced version of the Diskant sound, or even Mika Vainio at his most sanguine and dreamy with W6.
