When Francesco Tristano escapes to a club, the spirit which possesses him is the one of Techno, specifically the original Detroit sound. There, in the heat of the cabin, he switches from piano to synthesizer, from pedals to software and what flows out of the speakers is a kind of music, emotional, sprinkled with piano stabs and unstoppable grooves. Robert Babicz excellent imprint returns with a mammoth release from the man himself. Lets get straight to it, and its the wonderful title track from the EP Mercury Bells. This haunting vocal gem means business from the off. Chiming bells and the evocative lyrics create an emotive dreamy vibe. Already an established artist of the house and techno industry for over a decade, Martin Eyerer is a force that shows no signs of stopping.
