Intel Core 02 Duo or AMD Phenom II processor; 64-bit support required
Additional disk space required for preview files, and other working files (10GB recommended)
4GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on removable flash storage devices)
4GB of RAM (8GB recommended)
OpenGL 2.0-capable system
1280x900 display
Optional: Adobe-certified GPU card for GPU-accelerated performance
QuickTime 7.6.6 software required for QuickTime features
DVD-ROM drive compatible with dual-layer DVDs (DVD+-R burner for burning DVDs; Blu-ray burner for creating Blu-ray Disc media)
Sound card compatible with ASIO protocol or Microsoft Windows Driver Model

Features added or changed in this update:
Windows 08 updates to certification for HiDPI display, which improves the appearance of computers that use Retina Display, such as MacBook Pro GPU added to the list of those that Premiere Pro CS6 will use the GPU for processing: GT 650M (which is in the newest MacBook Pro computers) and GTX 680
Note:
Premiere Pro can use OpenCL or CUDA for GPU processing on the GT 650M. The default is to use OpenCL. You can change this in the general project settings.
