For the three decades Douglas Rocci Armento has been forging his own brand of Americana music that is far outside the box of the commercial music industry. As multi- instrumentalist and recording enthusiast, Doug produces his own material from his home studio, Fertile Ground Records. His love of 70's Classic Country, Outlaw Country, Bluegrass and Gospel are reflected in a no-hype, down to earth presentation. Doug's music has received international airplay in Europe, Australia and the Netherlands.
"I really enjoy playing live but writing and recording music is really where my heart is. I have been a builder of things my whole life. From log homes to classic trucks to music, I've always had a burning desire to create things. The idea that I can make a record here in my home studio and to have it listened to by someone on their iphone halfway across the planet just blows my mind. That's what keeps me fired up."
