Sikth (also typeset as SikTh) are a British progressive metal band from Watford, Hertfordshire, England, formed in 1999. They are considered to have been a key influence within progressive metal, alongside Meshuggah. Due to a various number of reasons, they decided to go on an indefinite hiatus in 2008. During this time, the band gained a lot popularity from the "djent" community, which was on the rise at that moment. At the end of 2013, SikTh announced a reunion show. Mid 2015 they finally announced to be releasing new music. A crowd-funded EP titled "Opacities", is what followed. "The Future In Whose Eyes?" will be the first full-length album since their hiatus.
