Maintenance Pack (MP) extends the capabilities of the software solutions Siemens PLM Software NX 8.5.2 and fixes pesky bugs from previous releases and enables a customer to receive fixes for urgent problems, without having to wait for the next service pack.
Siemens PLM NX 8.5.2 (Linux) MP02 Update
The latest version, NX 8.5, includes extensive customer-driven enhancements and new capabilities that provide increased flexibility and productivity across product engineering and manufacturing to help reduce time to market. NX 8.5 builds on Siemens PLM Softwares HD-PLM vision, which was established to help companies make smarter decisions more efficiently and with a higher level of confidence.
Maintenance Pack 02 for NX 8.5.2:
The problem in Manufacturing Turning where the Feeds and Speeds unit type of Millimeters Per Revolution (MMPR) was not always retained in the operation settings when the operation was reopened is fixed.
The problem in Translators where UNC paths were not supported in the command line translator syntax is fixed.
The problem where updating some drawing views caused errors is fixed.
Note: To repair affected parts perform Part Cleanup with Clean Feature Data option.
The problem in Drafting where the incorrect layers were visible in 'Smart Lightweight' and 'Exact' views, when using 'Layer Visible in View' is fixed.
The problem in Assemblies where expanding wave links in the Relations Browser was slow is improved.
The problem where the Part Navigator behaved incorrectly when switching from Modeling to Drafting and back is fixed.
The problem in Drafting where some dimensions in the Exact View lost associativity after Component Replacement is fixed.
The problem in Drafting where in some cases the creation of a projected view was slow is improved.
The problem in Assemblies where a WAVE link did not transfer the feature name is fixed.
The problem in Assemblies where the extracted body in some cases inherited the wrong name for output is fixed.
The problem in Translators where the DXFDWG translator failed when there were more than 20 directories specified in the def file is fixed.
