Slink is the easy way to remotely connect to your home network. All shared services on your home network automatically appear in the Finder, iTunes, iPhoto, and other applications. (Just as they do at home!)

Mac OS X makes it easy to share services—such as iTunes, iPhoto, files and printers—to other computers on your home network. Slink makes your home network appear to be connected even when you are away. Almost any service that use Bonjour is magically made available from anywhere.

Slink's advanced technology takes care of all the tricky network stuff. No need to know about NAT, dynamic or static DNS, IP addresses and ports. Install the Slink Preference Pane on a Mac in your home network. Install Slink on the Mac that you use remotely. Done.

What's new
Version 1.1
Feature: Slink now has a “Connection Doctor” that helps diagnose connectivity issues between your remote and home computers. The Connection Doctor is accessed from Window > Connection Doctor. Slink also offers to open the Connection Doctor when connectivity issues are encountered.
Feature: The new “Firewall Buster” feature allows you to find outbound ports that are allowed through corporate firewalls. The Firewall Buster is accessed from Window > Firewall Buster.
Enhancement: The behavior of the Slink menu bar icon has been improved. It is now light gray when Slink is disconnected. It goes dark gray when Slink is in the process of connecting. Once the services of your home network has been fully discovered, the icon goes green. In other words, when the icon is green you can immediately start using your home services.
General improvements: General improvements and bug fixes.
