Coriolis CDMaker 1.3.3 [UB]

Quote:
CDMaker is free tool that is available to customers that purchased iDefrag or iPartition to create a custom Boot disc for their products ONLY!

••• Note ••• There is no such thing as CDMaker 2.0.0 or now 3.0.0 even , it is a fake Japanese version, it is actually a much older version with a bogus version number. Don't think so? Look at the version numbers for iDefrag and iPartition as well, both fake as well

••• Note 2 ••• This handy little tool will allow you to create a bootable disc to put iDefrag or iPartition onto. You can use your Mac OS X Install disc to create a bootable disk image from or you can download the pre-made ones from the developer

There's only one catch, you will need a license key for either tool.
Using a fake or non-working one will help in most cases because both tools can be used from a boot disc still!
Description :
Coriolis CDMaker is designed to create a bootable CD/DVD for Coriolis products. You might want to do this because of restrictions about what you can do with your startup disk or partition.

Before proceeding, you should understand that running things from a CD/DVD will mean that applications have less memory to use than if they are running from a hard drive because there is no virtual memory. For this reason it is advisable that you run products from a hard drive if at all possible and if you do run the products from CD/DVD, check that you have sufficient memory. Check the System Requirements for the products you want to run.

Bootable CD/DVD Templates
Coriolis CDMaker needs core Mac OS X files in order to create a bootable CD/DVD. When you first run Coriolis CDMaker, you will be prompted to choose the source for these files.

These files can either come from the Internet, where we have stored preprepared, tested templates, or they can be copied from your installation media. If you want to use your installation media, insert your media in your computer and Coriolis CDMaker should detect it. If you want to use Internet sources, make sure that you are connected to the Internet otherwise Coriolis CDMaker will not list any sources.

Which source should I choose?
We generally recommend using an Internet source since they will have been tested the most. However it is usually safe to use your installation media which will be the quickest option, especially if you have a slow Internet connection.

Sources from the Internet are provided for your convenience. The latest templates are Universal, meaning that they will work on both PowerPC and Intel machines but they are for a DVD (and so you will need a DVD writer).

The earlier templates are for a CD. They are not Universal, so you will need to pick the appropriate template for the architecture of machine that you have. You can find out if you have an Intel machine by selecting About this Mac from the Apple menu. If you see the word Intel in the description of the processor, you have an Intel machine. Note that the earlier templates may not work on the latest Apple Macs so you should either use a DVD template or create a template using the installation media that came with your machine.

If you have a machine that Apple has only just released, there may not be a template on our site that works as we may not have had time to produce one. In this case, try using your installation media that came with the machine.

Once you have successfully created a template, you can use that template to create as many bootable CD/DVDs as you want. If you want to create a new template at a later date, there is a menu option on the Coriolis CDMaker menu.

System Requirements :
10.4 or higher (but it is possible it may work on older OSX's)

More Info None available because you can't get this without paying for iDefrag or iPartition.
